Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when creating an account (name, email) and data you choose to store in your vault (work history, education, skills, documents, etc.). We also collect basic usage analytics to improve the Service.

How We Use Your Information

Your vault data is used solely to provide 1Application services — storing your information, generating resumes, creating cover letters, and powering AI features you request. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your vault data for advertising.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers using enterprise-grade infrastructure (Supabase, built on PostgreSQL). All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. The content of your vault (the actual information you enter — work history, education, documents, and similar fields) is visible only to you. If your account was created through an employer, school, or program partner, a limited number of authorized administrators for that specific organization can see whether you've completed certain sections — not the content itself — for account support and program-management purposes. Our own support team may also access a specific account to investigate and resolve an issue you or your organization reports to us. We are working on giving you more direct visibility and control over exactly who can see what, and any expansion of admin visibility beyond what's described here will require your consent before it applies to your account. AI Processing

When you use AI features (resume generation, cover letter writing, ATS scoring), your vault data is processed by AI models to generate the requested output. This processing happens on-demand and the AI does not retain your data after generating results.

Your Rights

You may access and update your vault data at any time through your account settings. From Account Settings, you can download a complete export of everything we hold on your account at any time, and request account deletion. Deletion starts a 30-day window during which you can cancel; after that window your vault, documents, and application history are permanently removed. Billing records are anonymized and retained separately for legal and tax purposes rather than deleted outright. For any request you cannot complete yourself, or if you have questions, contact us at privacy@1application.me and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and preferences. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of 1Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
